When the brief for the Xiaomi YU7 launch film called for capturing the car's dynamic capabilities in a setting that embodied both beauty and extremity, we knew we had to create something extraordinary. Our concept: a high-octane winter drive across a vast, frozen lake, transforming the stark landscape into a cinematic proving ground.

The Blackship Studios crew, fueled by a spirit of adventure and technical excellence, descended upon the icy expanse, facing sub-zero temperatures and the inherent challenges of shooting in such a pristine, unforgiving environment. Our mission was to showcase the YU7's performance, handling, and cutting-edge design in a way that had never been seen before. We deployed a fleet of agile drones, equipped with high-speed cameras, to capture sweeping aerial shots that emphasized the car's speed and grace against the endless white horizon. A dedicated ground camera team, using stabilized rigs and pursuit vehicles, filmed heart-pounding close-ups as the YU7 drifted and accelerated on the glassy ice.
